Balance Pedestals, West Wickham

Overview

This project involved a DIY refurbishment of a rear garden, where the homeowner was installing new porcelain tiles.

About the project

The customer came to our offices with a plan including quite detailed measurements of where he needed pedestals to support his tiles. Using our Megapro estimating software we were able to determine exactly how many of each sized pedestal the customer would need for the entire project, providing a lay-out plan to aid installation.

We recommended our Balance range as they include a self-levelling head ensuring a completely level top surface, even on uneven ground.

The customer installed the tiles himself and achieved a perfect, flush finish up to his patio doors and the seamless view from inside the house.

The Balance heads have a shock absorber integrated into them which makes them ideal for porcelain tiles which can otherwise sound a little ‘tinny’ underfoot.
