Overview

This green roof project involved a set of high-rise offices being refurbished to a high standard. Being in the heart of London and nearing completion meant a busy site. So a quick, tidy, trouble-free installation was essential.

About the project

Our M-Trays were delivered to site by HGV and quickly unloaded on pallets. The lorry was in and out of the site in 15 minutes clearing the way for other deliveries.

The M-Tray®’s stackable design meant it was easy to transport through the building – by elevator and then finally hand-carried up a final flight of stairs onto the rooftop – causing far less mess and disruption than roll-out blanket.

As the trays simply clip together they are quick and easy to install. The vegetation begins to blend within days.

Pebbles were then added between the trays and paving and walkways.

In just 4 hours a small team had laid 195m² of M-Tray®s transforming the space into an amazing green roof.
