Farmers Protest Central London – 10th February 2025

On Monday 10th February 2025, our nursery closed for the day as our colleagues attended the Farmers’ Protest in Central London.

Thousands turned out to stand together against the inheritance tax on family farms, highlighting the pressing need to protect the future of agriculture in the UK.

At Wallbarn, we deeply value the hard work and dedication of farmers – they are essential to the production of our M-Tray green roof system, and to so much more that sustains our environment and economy.

Monday’s turnout is a testament to the determination and resilience of this vital community. As you will see in the video, Whitehall and Parliament Street were both closed during the protest.

We stand in full support of farmers and their efforts to secure fairness and a brighter future.
