With the wide array of finishes available Class A Paving Systems are becoming a popular choice for balconies, terraces, flat roofs and podiums.

- The system is a stable and sturdy frame that the tiles/slabs sits on without the need for any mechanical fixing. This allows easy access to underneath the tiles for maintenance or inspection purposes.

The MetalPad Ex can be installed directly on the sub floor. For vulnerable surfaces such as insulation or roofing membranes, we recommend using the optional Spreader Plate to help with weight distribution and point loading.
Aluminium rails are securely fastened to the pedestals using the M8 Wing Nut Kits (supplied by Wallbarn), and noggins can be added to the framework for additional strength and stability. The Class A Headpiece is then clipped onto the aluminium rail, holding the tile or slab in place while also creating a gap for drainage.
No adhesive or bonding is required in the system which allows easy access for cleaning and maintenance. At a future date if new slabs or tiles are needed or wanted, the previous tiles can simply be taken up and new ones laid.
