It’s hot, please water your green roof

Sedum plants are hardy but they are not invincible against complete lack of water

Remember, if it’s red, it’s in distress.

During this extended period of extreme heat and lack of rainfall it is important to water your green roof.

This will keep the plants green and healthy and keep the flowers flowering; but also keep healthy habitats for wildlife.

Use a hose, sprinkler, watering can, anything you have to hand to give the plants a good watering. It will benefit the longevity of your green roof enormously.
